Founded in 1952 by Harold N. Kriewald, Sr., Stalwart Appliances by Design has a long history of bringing international products off the pages of magazines and into the homes and businesses of Winnipeg. From our decades of service provided at 550 Roseberrry Street to our new 5,000 square foot showroom at 1781 Wellington Avenue, Stalwart Appliances by design has made its mandate to provide Winnipeg with quality products from around the world.

Initially the business focused solely on providing commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment across Canada. In the early 1990's, Harold L. Kriewald, Jr., diversified Stalwart's business plan to include the finest appliances available. The object wasn't to have long rows of appliances but rather to display then in cabinetry and kitchens so that clients could see then in a home like setting. Stalwart's showroom allows the customer to see a product, feel its craftsmanship and to get a better understanding of its functionality. Purchasing an appliance from Stalwart Appliances by Design is not about pressure selling, nor do we push so-called One Day Sales, or No-Payment plans.
